Most of the museum’s jewellery collection dates from the period between the 18th century and the present day and includes both domestic and foreign pieces, as long as the latter were worn in Switzerland. The collection of items dating from the 20th and 21st centuries is currently being developed. Of particular significance is the assortment of jewellery to be worn with traditional folk costumes.
